Accommodation reservation

There are two main accommodation options:

  1. CAAS and student dormitories

1. CAAS AND STUDENT DORMITORIES

The organizers have made a block reservation for the rooms listed in accommodation table (download pdf). To reserve your accommodation, please send an email with your preferences (give the type of room you want to reserve, specify if you want to share the room with a male or female person, or just give a name of the person with who you want to share room...) to goranka.zoric@fer.hr. She will collect all the reservations, make the final list and communicate it to the people in charge in Dubrovnik. Participants will pay their accommodation directly to CAAS and/or the dormitories. Most of the lowest-cost accommodation (apartments) is reserved for SIMILAR-funded undergrad students, so we will not take reservations for this accommodation until they are accommodated. Also, participants staying for the whole month will have preference in reservations. Part-time requests will be handled on a best-effort basis. Participants should send their preferences until 24th March. Organizers will allocate accommodation based on requests received until that date. We guarantee accommodation for full-time participants who send their requests until this deadline. No other guarantees can be given.

2. HOTELS AND PRIVATE ACCOMMODATION

The organizers have agreed with the travel agency Gulliver travel to handle additional accommodation in hotels and private rental apartments.
Hotels Lero, "R" and Excelsior are within walking distance of CAAS. Lero is the closest. Private rental appartments exist in various locations in Dubrovnik. The travel agency will reccommend to the participants the appartments within walking distance of CAAS depending on availability at the time of reservation.
At the moment (beginning of March) there are still some available rooms at hotels, but if you plan to stay at a hotel it is highly recommended to reserve as soon as possible. For private rooms the availability is better than in hotels, but it is not recommended to wait too long with reservations.

There are plenty of different restaurants in Dubrovnik with a wide range of prices. The organizers have arranged a discount with restaurant "Orhan" for your convinience. Further information is listed below. All participants interested in taking advantage of this group price should fill out the following form (eNTERFACE06 food reservation form) and send it directly by fax to the restaurant (+385 20 414 183) or via email to goranka.zoric@fer.hr.
